Course Overview

This Work Safe BC recognized Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3)(Occupational Advanced First Aid) program is a 72 hour course. In which participants must be present for all lessons and hand in all required homework assignments. Successful candidates will be able to perform all necessary emergency first aid skills and techniques as outlined by the standard grading criteria designed and recognized by Work Safe BC, through written multiple-choice test as well as a practical evaluation on physical skills. This course is designed for workplace first aid requirements for locations more than 20 minutes from medical facilities. Successful Candidates will receive 3 year certification.

The last day of the your course will consist if both multiple choice written exam and practical exam. A grade of 70% or higher is required for successful certification.

Our Occupational Level 3 First Aid (Occupational Advanced First Aid) Training is a comprehensive 72-hour program that specialises in a host of injury management scenarios.

From introductions to self-ambulatory walk-in patients and upper limb fractures, to spinal cord injuries and cardiac arrest—Level 3 (Advanced First Aid) training covers it all.

Registration Information

REFUNDS

Students/companies must apply in writing for a refund. Inquiries can be made in email form to admin@metrosafety.ca

Only the original receipt will be accepted to qualify for a refund.

No refund will be given for books.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registrants with confirmed applications who do not notify us of their cancellation and who do not attend the course are liable for the entire fee.

OFA 1(Basic First Aid) courses: Public classes require 72 hours’ written notice of cancellation and private courses require a non-refundable deposit with 7-14 days written notice of cancellation sent to info@metrosafety.ca

OFA Level 2(Intermediate First Aid), Level 3(Advanced First Aid BC), and Pro-Renewal courses require 14 business days’ notice via email to info@metrosafety.ca

REFUNDS BEFORE COURSE START

If written request is received within 10 business days of the date of registration OR if written request is received 30 calendar days or more before the course start date Metro Safety Training will retain an administration fee equal to a maximum of 15% of the tuition fee.

REFUNDS AFTER COURSE START

No refund will be given after the course starts.

TRANSFERS

Courses are transferrable within 6 months of original course date. If you cannot make your course, the office must be notified 14 business days prior to course date. A $150 transfer fee will be applied to transfers of any OFA Level 2(Intermediate First Aid) or 3(Advanced First Aid BC)course. NO EXCEPTIONS.
