Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)    certification is a globally recognized program developed for healthcare professionals (HCPs), emergency responders, and first aid providers. It equips participants with the critical skills required during life-threatening medical emergencies.

At Metro Safety, we follow the latest Canadian Red Cross guidelines to deliver practical, hands-on training that aligns with both national and WorkSafeBC standards.

Unlike standard CPR courses, BLS focuses on high-performance resuscitation techniques, team-based emergency response, and the effective use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Whether you’re a nurse, firefighter, paramedic, or health sciences student, this training helps you respond quickly and confidently to cardiac arrest, blocked airways, and respiratory crises.
