What You Will Learn
Participants in this Advanced First Aid Training (OFA 3 ) course will develop advanced skills including:
Priority Action Approach and scene control
Advanced patient assessment and monitoring
Airway management, oxygen therapy, CPR & AED
Spinal injury management and immobilization
Severe bleeding and shock treatment
Fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries
Medical and environmental emergency response
Who Should Attend
Designated workplace first aid attendants
Workers in high-risk or industrial environments
Employees working more than 20 minutes from medical aid
Certification
Successful participants receive a WorkSafeBC Advanced First Aid (OFA 3 ) certificate, valid for three years.
Language
This course is taught in English. All learning materials are provided in English.
