    What You Will Learn

    Participants will gain the confidence to handle a wide variety of emergency situations. The curriculum includes:

    • CPR & AED: High-quality techniques for adults, children, and infants.
    • Trauma Care: Controlling life-threatening bleeding, tourniquet application, and wound care.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and diabetic shocks.
    • Environmental Emergencies: Managing heat stroke, hypothermia, and poisoning.
    • Bone & Joint Injuries: Proper splinting and the RICE method.

    Certification & Professional Recognition

    Upon successful completion of the online modules and the in-person skills day, students will receive a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate. This certification is valid for 3 years and is widely accepted by daycare licensing, schools, and federally regulated workplaces.
