    Comprehensive Standard First Aid Training in Surrey

    This course uses the Canadian Red Cross blended learning format, which combines 2–4 hours of self-paced online theory with this full day of hands-on skills practice. It is designed to provide participants with the confidence and knowledge needed to respond to emergencies at home, in the community, or at the workplace.

    What You Will Learn

    Guided by expert instructors, students will master a wide range of life-saving skills, including:

    • Assessment: Primary and secondary patient assessments, including SAMPLE history and vitals.
    • CPR & AED: High-quality CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, plus Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
    • Trauma Care: Managing severe bleeding, tourniquet application, and care for burns, head, neck, and spinal injuries.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing and treating heart attacks, strokes (FAST), anaphylaxis, asthma, and diabetic emergencies.
    • Environmental Hazards: Responding to poisoning, heat-related illnesses, and hypothermia.
