What You Will Learn
Our expert instructors lead hands-on practice covering the full Red Cross curriculum, including:
- Assessment: Primary and secondary patient assessment (SAMPLE history and vitals).
- CPR & AED: High-quality CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, including AED operation.
- Trauma Care: Management of life-threatening bleeding, tourniquet application, and care for burns, head, and spinal injuries.
- Medical Emergencies: Recognizing and treating heart attacks, strokes, anaphylaxis, asthma, and diabetic emergencies.
- Environmental Hazards: Treatment for heat stroke, hypothermia, and poisoning.
Certification Details
Successful participants will earn a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. This credential is widely recognized by employers and professional bodies across Canada. Access to your digital certificate is typically available the same day via the Red Cross portal.
