Comprehensive Standard First Aid Training in Coquitlam
Join Metro Safety Training on Saturday, January 16, 2027, for our Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR/AED Level C course. This professional training session takes place at our primary facility located at 914 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 1A6. The in-person skills component runs from 08:30 AM to 04:30 PM PST.
This blended learning program is designed for efficiency and depth. Students complete 2–4 hours of online theory at their own pace before arriving for a full day of hands-on practice. What You Will Learn
Participants will gain life-saving skills through four detailed modules, including:
- CPR & AED: High-quality CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, including AED operation and choking response.
- Trauma Care: Managing life-threatening bleeding, tourniquet application, and treating various types of burns.
- Medical Emergencies: Recognizing and responding to heart attacks, strokes (FAST), seizures, and anaphylaxis.
- Environmental & Injury Management: Handling head, neck, and spinal injuries, as well as heat- and cold-related illnesses.
Course Details & Registration
Upon successful completion of the skills day, graduates receive a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. Our Coquitlam classroom features small class sizes to ensure personalized instruction from experienced emergency response professionals.
