    What You Will Learn

    Our expert instructors provide hands-on training covering a wide range of life-saving skills, including:

    • Primary and secondary patient assessment (SAMPLE history and vitals)
    • High-quality CPR and AED operation for adults, children, and infants
    • Managing breathing, airway, and choking emergencies
    • Wound care, life-threatening bleeding control, and tourniquet application
    • Treatment for burns, head/spine injuries, and bone/joint fractures
    • Responding to medical emergencies (Heart Attack, Stroke, Anaphylaxis, Diabetes)
    • Environmental emergencies like heat-stroke and hypothermia

    Who Should Attend?

    This course is ideal for teachers, daycare providers, coaches, healthcare support workers, and community volunteers. It is also suitable for federally regulated workplaces that accept the Red Cross Standard First Aid credential. Note: This course provides a Red Cross certificate, not a WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid (OFA) credential.

    Certification & Registration

    Successful participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate, valid for three years. Your digital certificate will be available on the same day via the Red Cross portal.
