    What You Will Learn

    This comprehensive course covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) usage for victims of all ages. Key modules include:

    • Emergency Response: The Check/Call/Care framework and activating EMS.
    • All-Ages CPR: High-quality techniques for adults, children, and infants.
    • AED Operation: How to safely use an automated external defibrillator.
    • Choking Response: Managing airway obstructions in responsive and unresponsive casualties.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke (FAST), and life-threatening bleeding.

    Who Should Attend?

    CPR Level C is the standard for most non-healthcare workplaces in British Columbia. It is ideal for workplace employees, parents, coaches, fitness instructors, and childcare workers. Please note that while this is a Red Cross certification, it is not a WorkSafeBC occupational first aid (OFA) credential.

    Certification Details

    Participants who successfully complete the skills session will receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. Metro Safety provides same-day digital certificate access through the Red Cross portal for your convenience.
