    What You Will Learn

    This course provides the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and infants. Our expert instructors will guide you through:

    • High-quality CPR techniques for all ages (Adult, Child, and Infant)
    • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and safety
    • How to assist a conscious and unconscious choking victim
    • Recognizing the signs of heart attack, stroke, and life-threatening bleeding
    • 2-rescuer CPR coordination and the H.A.IN.E.S. recovery position

    Who Should Attend?

    This certification is designed for workplace employees, parents, coaches, fitness professionals, and anyone who wants to be prepared to save a life. Level C is the standard requirement for most non-healthcare workplaces in British Columbia. Please note that while this is a Red Cross credential, it is not a standalone WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid (OFA) certificate.

    Certification Details

    Upon successful completion of the hands-on skills session, participants will be awarded a Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. You will have same-day access to your digital certificate via the MyRC portal.
