What You Will Learn
Our expert instructors use a hands-on approach to ensure you leave the classroom feeling confident. The curriculum includes:
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and safety.
- Choking response for all ages (responsive and unresponsive).
- Recognition of heart attack, stroke (FAST), and angina.
- Coordinating 2-rescuer CPR and using the H.A.IN.E.S. recovery position.
- Basic life-threatening bleeding awareness.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for workplace employees needing compliance, coaches, daycare staff, personal trainers, and anyone interested in learning the full spectrum of CPR skills. Please note that while this is a Red Cross certification valid for 3 years, it is not a WorkSafeBC occupational first aid (OFA) credential.
Certification Details
Successful graduates will receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. We offer same-day digital certificate access via the myrc.redcross.ca portal, allowing you to provide proof of training to your employer immediately.
