    What You Will Learn

    This blended learning format combines self-paced online theory with this essential in-person skills session. Under the guidance of professional Red Cross instructors, you will master:

    • High-quality CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants.
    • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and safety.
    • Choking response (airway obstruction) for all age groups.
    • Recognition of cardiac emergencies including heart attack and stroke (FAST).
    • Managing life-threatening bleeding and secondary complications.

    Certification & Recognition

    Successful participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. This certification meets the requirements for most BC workplaces and community organizations. Please note that while this is a recognized Red Cross credential, it is not a substitute for WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid (BFA/IFA/AFA).
