    What You Will Learn

    This 14-hour intensive course moves beyond basic life saving to focus on critical occupational patient care. Major modules include:

    • Advanced Assessment: Mastering the Priority Action Approach (PAA) and transport decision-making.
    • Trauma Management: Treating flail chest, pneumothorax, and utilizing tourniquets for life-threatening bleeding.
    • Medical Emergencies: Managing diabetic emergencies, seizures, strokes, and environmental injuries like hypothermia.
    • Practical Skills: Two-person CPR, AED operation, and immobilization of major fractures and dislocations.

    This course is essential for first aid attendants at workplaces with 20+ workers or sites located more than 30 minutes from ambulance services.
