The bridging program focuses on competencies that extend beyond the OFA 3 scope, ensuring you are prepared for high-stakes pre-hospital care. The curriculum includes:
- Advanced systematic primary and secondary patient assessments.
- Oxygen therapy, airway adjuncts, and cardiac monitoring fundamentals.
- Assisted medication protocols (Nitroglycerin, ASA, Epinephrine, Glucagon).
- Spinal motion restriction and advanced hemorrhage control (tourniquets/wound packing).
- MCI triage using START and JumpSTART protocols.
- Basic Life Support (BLS / CPR-HCP) certification.
