Join Metro Safety Training for our Emergency First Aid - CPR-C course on October 30, 2026. This comprehensive half-day program is held at our Metro Safety Surrey facility located at 15685 Fraser Hwy #4a, Surrey, BC V4N 0Y6. The session runs from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM PST.
This Canadian Red Cross EFA + CPR/AED Level C course is our most accessible entry-level certification. It is designed to provide students with the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. Over the course of approximately 5 hours, participants will gain hands-on experience and the confidence to act in a crisis.
Course Curriculum & Learning Objectives
- Scene Assessment: Master the Check/Call/Care sequence and learn to manage emergency scenes safely.
- CPR & AED: Practical training for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
- Choking & Airway: Techniques for clearing obstructed airways in all age groups.
- Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke (FAST), anaphylaxis, asthma, and seizures.
- Trauma Care: Basic wound care, bleeding control, and response for head, spine, and environmental injuries.

There are no prerequisites for this course, though participants should be at least 16 years of age.
Certification Details
Upon successful completion, students will receive a Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. Metro Safety provides same-day digital access to your credentials via the Red Cross portal.
