    What You Will Learn

    Our Canadian Red Cross certified instructors provide hands-on training covering essential life-saving skills. This session includes:

    • The Check/Call/Care Requirement: How to safely assess emergency scenes and activate EMS.
    • Airway & CPR: Techniques for adults, children, and infants, including choking maneuvers.
    • AED Training: Safe operation of Automated External Defibrillators.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, and diabetic emergencies.
    • Trauma Care: Managing external bleeding, head and spine injuries, and environmental emergencies like heat stroke or hypothermia.

    Who Should Attend?

    This course is ideal for individuals who need a recognized 3-year certification quickly. It is highly recommended for coaches, teachers, childcare workers, and parents. While it does not replace WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid (BFA) requirements, it is the gold standard for community and general workplace safety.
