    What You Will Learn

    Led by expert Canadian Red Cross instructors, this course follows the Check-Call-Care framework. You will gain hands-on experience in:

    • Adult, child, and infant CPR (Level C)
    • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation
    • Choking response for all ages
    • Managing sudden medical emergencies (Heart attack, stroke, seizures, and diabetic shock)
    • Basic wound care, bleeding control, and trauma response
    • Anaphylaxis and asthma emergency assistance

    Who Should Attend?

    This course is ideal for individuals who need a recognized Red Cross certificate quickly without a multi-day commitment. It is highly recommended for coaches, teachers, childcare workers, community volunteers, and parents. Please note that this is a 3-year certification. While recognized across Canada, it is not a substitute for WorkSafeBC Basic First Aid (OFA 1).
