Join Metro Safety Training on March 6, 2027, for our comprehensive Emergency First Aid (EFA) course. This Canadian Red Cross certified program is designed to provide you with the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course will be held at our primary classroom located at Metro Safety Training, 914 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 1A6.

What You Will Learn

- CPR & AED: Life-saving techniques for adults, children, and infants, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators.
- Medical Emergencies: How to identify and assist during heart attacks, strokes, anaphylaxis (EpiPen use), and asthma attacks.
- Trauma Care: Managing external bleeding, wound care, and initial response for head or spinal injuries.
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal for coaches, childcare workers, teachers, and parents who require a recognized first aid credential but do not need a full WorkSafeBC occupational designation. It is a fast-paced, 4.5-hour single session that fits perfectly into a busy schedule.
