This Canadian Red Cross certified program is a single-session, half-day course running from 08:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Designed for efficiency and accessibility, this training provides the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies.

What You Will Learn
Participants will gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in several critical areas, including:
- The Red Cross Check/Call/Care emergency response sequence.
- CPR Level C & AED: Mastery of CPR techniques for adults, children, and infants, including the use of Automated External Defibrillators.
- Airway Emergencies: Responding to choking for all age groups.
- Sudden Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, and seizures.
- Trauma Care: Managing external bleeding, head and spinal injuries, and environmental emergencies like heat stroke or hypothermia.
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal for individuals who require a recognized 3-year certificate but do not need a full two-day Standard First Aid course. It is highly recommended for coaches, childcare workers, teachers, parents, and employees in lower-hazard workplaces. Please note that while this is a Red Cross credential, it is not a WorkSafeBC occupational first aid (BFA/IFA) designation.

The cost for this course is $108. Students will receive same-day digital access to their 3-year Canadian Red Cross EFA + CPR/AED Level C certificate upon successful completion.
