Emergency First Aid Training in Coquitlam
Join Metro Safety Training on January 9, 2027, for our comprehensive Emergency First Aid (EFA) course. This single-day session is designed to provide you with the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. What You Will Learn
Our Canadian Red Cross certified instructors will guide you through a hands-on curriculum that includes:
- Scene Assessment: Learning the Check/Call/Care emergency response sequence.
- CPR & AED: Mastery of CPR Level C (Adult, Child, and Infant) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
- Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, and diabetic emergencies.
- Trauma Care: Managing external bleeding, wound dressing, and initial care for head or spinal injuries.

This course is ideal for individuals seeking a recognized Red Cross first aid and CPR certificate without the time commitment of a multi-day program. Please note that while this is a prestigious Red Cross credential, it is not a substitute for WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid (BFA/IFA) if your workplace requires a designated attendant.
Certification Details
Successful participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for three years. You will gain same-day access to your digital certificate via the Red Cross portal.
