    What You Will Learn

    This Canadian Red Cross EFA course covers the core skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The curriculum includes:

    • The Red Cross Check/Call/Care emergency response sequence.
    • CPR Level C & AED: High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator.
    • Airway Emergencies: Recognizing and clearing obstructed airways (choking).
    • Sudden Medical Emergencies: Assessing heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and diabetic emergencies.
    • Trauma & Wound Care: Bleeding control, head and spinal injury response, and managing environmental injuries like heat stroke or hypothermia.

    Upon successful completion of this single-session course, students will receive a Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate. This credential is valid for three years. We provide same-day digital certificate access through the Red Cross portal.
