    What You Will Learn

    This Canadian Red Cross certified course provides students with the confidence to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The curriculum includes:

    • The Red Cross Check/Call/Care Model: Essential scene assessment and emergency communication.
    • Airway & Breathing: Choking maneuvers and CPR for adults, children, and infants.
    • AED Training: Proper operation of Automated External Defibrillators.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, and seizures.
    • Trauma Care: Bleeding control, wound dressing, and managing head or spinal injuries.
