Join Metro Safety Training on November 28, 2026, for our comprehensive Emergency First Aid (EFA) and CPR Level C course. This half-day program is designed for individuals who need essential life-saving skills but do not require a full two-day Standard First Aid commitment. What You Will Learn
This Canadian Red Cross certified course provides students with the confidence to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. The curriculum includes:
- The Red Cross Check/Call/Care Model: Essential scene assessment and emergency communication.
- Airway & Breathing: Choking maneuvers and CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- AED Training: Proper operation of Automated External Defibrillators.
- Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, anaphylaxis, and seizures.
- Trauma Care: Bleeding control, wound dressing, and managing head or spinal injuries.
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal for community volunteers, coaches, childcare workers, teachers, and parents who want to be prepared for family emergencies. While it is a recognized Red Cross credential, please note that it does not substitute for WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid requirements.
