    What You Will Learn

    This Canadian Red Cross EFA course provides the essential skills needed to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies. Participants will gain hands-on experience in:

    • The Check/Call/Care framework: Assessing scene safety and activating EMS.
    • CPR & AED: Mastery of Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators.
    • Choking & Airway Emergencies: Responding to respiratory distress for all ages.
    • Medical Emergencies: Recognizing signs of heart attack, stroke, seizures, and diabetic shocks.
    • Trauma & Wound Care: Managing external bleeding, head and spine injuries, and environmental emergencies like heat stroke or hypothermia.

    Who Should Attend?

    This course is ideal for individuals who want a recognized first aid credential without the time commitment of a multi-day program. It is highly recommended for coaches, childcare workers, teachers, parents, and community volunteers. Please note that while this is a Red Cross credential, it is not a WorkSafeBC occupational certificate.

    Certification & Registration

    Upon successful completion, students receive a Canadian Red Cross Emergency First Aid + CPR/AED Level C certificate valid for three years. We provide same-day digital certificate access. The cost for this session is $98.
