What You Will Learn
Following the latest Canadian Red Cross guidelines, this blended learning session focuses on hands-on skills including:
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and safety.
- Choking response for conscious and unconscious victims of all ages.
- Recognition of cardiac emergencies such as heart attack and stroke (FAST).
- Coordinating 2-rescuer CPR and using the H.A.IN.E.S. recovery position.
Certification and Registration
Upon successful completion of the online theory and this in-person skills session, participants will receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR/AED Level C certificate, which is valid for 3 years. This certification is widely recognized by employers across British Columbia and meets the requirements for most workplace safety standards.
