What You Will Learn

- Hazard Identification: Classifying spaces (Class A, B, or C) and identifying atmospheric vs. physical hazards.
- Gas Detection: Practical experience with bump-testing, calibrating, and interpreting multi-gas detectors.
- Safety Protocols: Completing entry permits, verifying lockout/tagout, and setting up forced-air ventilation.
- Rescue Planning: Developing rescue pre-plans with a focus on non-entry retrieval systems.
