    What You Will Learn

    • Hazard Classification: Defining and classifying Class A, B, and C confined spaces per WorkSafeBC OHS Regulations.
    • Atmospheric Monitoring: Hands-on practice with multi-gas detectors, including bump testing and interpreting alarms for H2S, CO, and LEL.
    • Safety Protocols: How to complete entry permits, verify energy isolation (lockout), and set up forced-air ventilation.
    • Rescue Planning: Developing rescue pre-plans and understanding the vital role of the monitor and standby person.

    Who Should Attend?

    This course is designed for welders, pipefitters, plumbers, marine maintenance workers, and any industrial personnel who must enter tanks, vaults, or trenches. It is also highly recommended for Construction Safety Officers (CSOs) who oversee site safety. Participants will receive a 3-year certification upon successful completion.
