Join Metro Safety for our Basic First Aid Training (OFA 1) on October 6, 2026. This comprehensive one-day training program is designed to provide workers with the essential skills needed to provide life-saving first aid in a workplace setting. Held at our professional training center, Metro Safety Surrey (located at 15685 Fraser Hwy #4a, Surrey, BC V4N 0Y6), this course meets WorkSafeBC requirements for first aid attendants in the province.

Course Curriculum & Outcomes

Students will undergo a mix of classroom theory and hands-on practical training. Key areas of focus include:

• Primary Survey and Assessment (ABC’s)
• CPR and AED usage for adults
• Managing airway obstructions (choking)
• Controlling severe bleeding and wound care
• Recognizing and treating shock
• Minor wound management and documentation requirements
