Basic First Aid - February 18, 2027

This course is designed to equip you with life-saving skills and satisfy WorkSafeBC's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations for low-risk workplaces. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, students will master:

• The Priority Action Approach: How to assess scenes and manage emergencies systematically.
• CPR & AED: High-quality adult CPR techniques and safe operation of Automated External Defibrillators.
• Wound & Airway Management: Treating severe bleeding, burns, and clearing obstructed airways.
• Regulatory Compliance: Mastering WorkSafeBC first aid record-keeping requirements for the workplace.

This course is ideal for office workers, retail staff, hospitality employees, and small business owners in Coquitlam, Surrey, Richmond, and Vancouver. It is specifically designed for workplaces located within 20 minutes of emergency medical services. No prior experience is required, though participants must be at least 16 years of age.

Certification & Registration

Upon successful completion of the written exam and practical scenarios, you will receive a WorkSafeBC Basic First Aid certificate valid for three years. The cost is $98 and includes all training materials and certification fees. With a maximum capacity of only 6 students, you are guaranteed personalized instruction and ample hands-on practice time.
