What You Will Learn
This WorkSafeBC-aligned course covers the fundamental aspects of emergency first aid. Students will engage in hands-on training and theoretical learning, including:
- Priority Action Approach and primary surveys
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED usage
- Management of obstructed airways (choking)
- Controlling severe bleeding and wound care
- Recognizing and treating shock
- Emergency response for minor and major medical conditions
Who Should Attend?
This course is ideal for workplace first aid attendants, construction workers, office safety officers, and any individual looking to gain confidence in emergency response. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certification valid for three years, meeting regulatory requirements for Occupational First Aid Level 1.
