About This Course
Advanced First Aid (OFA 3) Professional Certification in Coquitlam
Join Metro Safety Training for our comprehensive Advanced First Aid (AFA) Training, equivalent to the Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA 3) standards. This intensive 10-day program is scheduled from November 9 to November 20, 2026, providing students with the high-level skills necessary to manage complex medical emergencies in the workplace.
During this course, participants will master advanced life-saving techniques, including primary and secondary surveys, cervical spine control, airway management, and the use of oxygen therapy equipment. Training is conducted by industry experts at our dedicated facility: Metro Safety Training, 914 Sherwood Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 1A6.
Course Schedule & Registration
The training sessions run daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (PST). Due to the rigorous nature of the curriculum and WorkSafeBC requirements, 100% attendance is required. With a maximum capacity of 12 students, our small class sizes ensure personalized instruction and ample hands-on practice time.
