This comprehensive training equips participants with advanced lifesaving skills\, in-depth patient assessment techniques\, and the confidence to manage serious workplace emergencies until professional medical care arrives.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Details \n📅 Dates: August 03\, 2026- August 14\, 2026\n⏰ Time: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)\n📍 Location:\n914 Sherwood Ave \, Coquitlam\, BC V3K 1A6 \n💲 Cost:  Advanced First Aid – $878 per person \nWhat You Will Learn \nParticipants in this Advanced First Aid Training (OFA 3 ) course will develop advanced skills including: \nPriority Action Approach and scene control \nAdvanced patient assessment and monitoring \nAirway management\, oxygen therapy\, CPR & AED \nSpinal injury management and immobilization \nSevere bleeding and shock treatment \nFractures\, dislocations\, and soft tissue injuries \nMedical and environmental emergency response \nWho Should Attend \nDesignated workplace first aid attendants \nWorkers in high-risk or industrial environments \nEmployees working more than 20 minutes from medical aid \nCertification \nSuccessful participants receive a WorkSafeBC Advanced First Aid (OFA 3 ) certificate\, valid for three years. \nLanguage \nThis course is taught in English.
